WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!

We can be as thorough as possible and have ample time to consult and assess you, please kindly arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time.

Your consultation is split into 2 separate appointments.

-The purpose of your first visit is to discuss your problem, for the chiropractor to find the underlying cause of your problem and determine whether chiropractic treatment would be able

help. The Hagley Road chiropractor will review the health questionnaire with you that you completed online prior to attending and will then conduct a thorough functional, neurological, orthopaedic and chiropractic specific examination. We also take some images for our postural analysis software. If you are taking any medications, it is useful if you can bring a list of these with you. Depending on your condition you may be referred for X-rays or MRI scans, which may be necessary to help analyse and diagnose conditions that require a different form of treatment. This only occurs on rare occasions, and everything will be fully explained beforehand. At the end of this session the chiropractor will have a great deal of information to analyse and put a treatment plan together specifically for you as no two patients are the same.

In the unlikely event of chiropractic being unsuitable for you, we will let you know at the end of your initial consultation. This may be due a condition we do not treat, or we feel you would be better suited with a different approach from another medical practitioner.

Following your consultation, we will ask you to book in for appointment 2 at the front desk which is for your verbal Report of our Findings. This is where will provide you with a detailed explanation of your condition, as well as the most appropriate course of action for you. This will include what is happening and why and what will need to be done to get you better and why. We will also cover your customised treatment plan based on your needs.

After your verbal report of findings session, we allocate time to complete your first treatment. Please kindly note: Any treatment which is offered and provided on or after your verbal Report of our Findings is an additional charge.

It is important that if possible, you bring someone with you to this appointment preferably your partner. Those that do, get better results, stay well for longer and spend less money whilst in the centre.

-Please bring your diary with you so that we can pre-book all of your appointments ahead of time to secure your ideal slots and to ensure you get the most out of your care.

At the end of the booking process you will be directed to a online health Questionnaire called the Case History Form this needs to be completed and submitted no later than 4 hours before your consultation. Failure to complete this form before your consultation may lead to the consultation being cancelled and rescheduled this cancelled appointment will be charged.

Feel free to bring any medical reports that you feel are relevant for the practitioner to review (MRI, x rays etc.)

Finally, we will leave no stone unturned in our quest to get you truly well and to help you stay well. Thank you for entrusting us with your most valuable possession; your health! We can’t wait to meet and take care of you!
